Becoming a celebrity, being loved, recognized and remembered is a dream of many kids, adolescents and even some adults. But which is the price to pay? Our research  of the link between celebrities and mental health was based on three priority questions:

Is there any connection between fame and mental illness?

Our hypothesis is that there is, that mental illness is more common in celebrities when compared to the normal population, because of all the pressure.

Are famous people open to talk about their mental issues with their audience?

We think they are not, as this gives them a bad reputation.

Which mental illnesses are more common in famous people?

We guess that depression, eating disorders and anxiety are the most common.

We also tried to find out the role of social media and found many interesting and some unexpected aspects of the relationship between celebrities and mental illness .
